Hi guys, is there any way to measure a stream's pH in Aspen Plus? - Reddit
Sorry if this is a noob question but our course was on Aspen HYSYS while my final year project could only be done in Aspen Plus so I had to learn everything by myself. Is there any way to measure a stream's pH or something similar? I basically want to acidify a water stream by dissolving CO2 in it and want to record the pH both up and down stream.

The kinetics are not important so I'm using RStoic with 70% conversion. The problem: I define the heat of reaction, however the program seems not to accept it?

My impression is that Aspen and Cape are the industry standards for fault analysis and relay settings on transmission systems. SKM and ETAP are popular for industrial design and doing things like arc flash analysis.

Thanks all for the replies. I was a bit triggered when posting, not really enjoying doing map comp for the 20x times, so i decided to try to go for the lanterns instead, and I got frustrated a bit. You really need to do the aspenwood meta to unlock the lantern. There is no way around. Managed to do it with just a few peeps tho. Wasn’t that hard, but hey, at least now i know ! Have fun!

I wanted to practice more on it during my winter break, but I'm unable to find the software- the website just links to a training program, I can't seem to find a 'Buy' option also. Anybody have experience with Aspen Evolution 1000 in your GA airplanes? I lease a 1968 Mooney M20C from a buddy of mine and he is installing Aspen Evolution 1000 avionics in November. We have a Garmin 430 and Garmin 496 in the airplane, and he is undecided on also installing the autopilot with it, or waiting just a bit on that.

I prefer PI, Aspen has better trending but using the graphs with trends in PI and the ability to use PI CoreSite was amazing. Pi also pulls into excel faster. Aspen Plus / Aspen Hysys has a larger market share than Unisim, I'm less familiar with Unisim, but Aspen also comes with a large suite of products for doing different things including making your own EO custom models, and some more specialized operations such as batch reactions / distillation.
